Prodigy Cache is a responsive web platform designed to modernize the commissary experience across secure residential facilities.
It serves both public users (friends and family of residents) and internal facility staff, streamlining everything from purchases, debt management, inventory, order processing, fund accounting and more.
Role: As the lead product designer, I led all design efforts across for this project after it was brought in house from an external agency.

I spent the next few weeks getting the full scope of this product. Whenever work started on a new feature I conduct user research to gain context and validate findings with stakeholders and engineering.

As a part of the larger Fund Accounting management system embedded in the product, cash drawers serve as a physical entry point for money that requires high level auditing to ensure transparency.

The public facing feature was spearheaded by our third party partners, I revamped the UI to ensure accessibility compliance and adjusted UX to align with our database updates.
